Here's something I'm thinking about...not sure if I will keep it up or not, but I'll give it a shot.
Basically, I usually read comics every day. Sometimes I don't read any comics, but when I do read comics, I usually read 4 or 5 at a time. Or sometimes more, as in today. Sometimes I'll go a week without reading any, sometimes even a month or more. (when I get backlogged on magazines or take a book out from the library, in particular)
I'll list those books, and give commentary if I feel they deserve it or I have something to say.
All the books are cover date February 2011.
Getting the "honor" of being the first comic I read since I started the blog, is-
Jonah Hex #62. Not a great issue. By this point in the series it's like they ran out of ideas and it was pretty much the same thing every time. I can't say I enjoyed it.
Superman/Batman #79. I've never read this one before today. Was surprised to see the issue focused on the villain, The Lord of Time. When the series was new I bailed on the title after issue #49, but have forced myself on in the project I mentioned in the Introduction.
Legion of Super-Heroes #8. Nothing good to say about this series. Pretends to be the original Legion, but it's not.
Gotham City Sirens #18. Actually featured Zatanna more than the title characters. Enjoyed the issue.
Power Girl #19. A tie in to the events of Brightest Day. Probably the best issue in this reading session.
Doom Patrol #17. This series really shouldn't have existed. First appearance of the Aristocrats.
Turns out I had commentary on all of them. What a shock! ;)
This is a great way to keep a reading history.
